Personal Statement
Passion, dedication, leadership skills, good communication skills and confidence are just a few of the qualities I have. I think like every other athlete my age, I aspire to play at the college level, but what separates me is my passion, dedication, and my ability to inspire action, motivate my teammates, strong communication and commitment. All these abilities or traits define me as a leader. With me being captain of my high school varsity soccer team, I must display an attitude of positivity and encourage my teammates in doing their very best, always. Never surrender to the circumstances no matter how difficult things may seem. I believe in working towards my goals, playing the sport I love at the college level, soccer, and pursuing a higher education. I am aware of the fact that a lot of persons do not have the opportunity to play, I was in that position once. Now that I have the opportunity, I plan to make the best of it. I desire to learn about life with a ball at my feet, I already know that some things in life are more important that winning or losing a match. My team is my family, so I push them to do their best. I motivate myself to do great things which I am positive that I will definitely accomplish.
