Hello my name is Emily Rinaldi, and a Senior at Estero High School. I am looking for a college that has both academic and athletic excellence.
My first position is midfield. I have played both attacking mid and defensive mid, but can adapt to any position from my training and vision of the field. I currently start for Florida West F.C. ECNL-R '03/04 (Formerly GPS) and Varsity for Estero High School. I was a Freshman starter on the Estero Varsity team that won Districts first year, and Regionals next year, and Districts again last year. Florida West F.C. is an ECNL-R travel team that will play in Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Georgia, and our home state of Florida against top tier teams. The 03/04 Team will carries a ranking in the Top 10 State of Florida. I was chosen by GPS West 2019 to practice with Weston D.A., and travel to South Carolina to visit with the '03 GPS National team. I played 3v3 for Real Estero during summers, and won 2 Southeastern Championships 2016 & 2017. I have also attended college soccer camps, train with Florida West D.O.C./Coach Danny Fahey to keep my competitive edge. I practice at game speed and always outwork any player on the field. I work very hard at making every player around me better.
I am a very good student with a 4.2 weighted GPA and take my education very seriously. I am currently enrolled in an accelerated honors program at Estero. I am not 100% decided on a major, but more than likely will be in the medical field.
Religion and community is an extremely important part of my life. I received my Catholic Communion & Confirmation, and continue to be involved in our church. I have volunteered at the Immokalee Food Commission, Red Cross Blood Drive, Lamb of God Church, and Our Lady of Light Catholic Community to increase my faith and help others.
Though I play multiple sports competitively, soccer has always been my passion. I aspire to play competitvely at a high level, while being a strong student to be successful upon graduation, and make my parents proud.
