To me, soccer is more than just a sport. It has taught me so much. I've learned to never give up, even if I made a mistake. I learned to always pick my head up and fix it, I never give up. Your team becomes your family, I've learned that encouraging your family is one of the only ways you can move forward and succeed. What I've taken most out of soccer is that no matter if you win or lose, what's important is how you finish. Your attitude and determination decides the outcome.
My favorite thing about playing sports is my dad. He would always make me have a soccer practice before the actual practice would even begin. He showed me that I could be just as good, if not better, than the girls who have played their whole lives. He knew I started playing late, I began playing at age 11. He taught me that hard work pays off. His pushing and my hard work are the reason's why I'm good for your team. I work and practice to get better, not worse.
