My name is Abbey Foster. I am a striker graduating in 2018. As the leading scorer on my high school varsity team freshman, sophomore and Junior year, I was voted MVP. After my senior year, I am the lifetime leading scorer at my high school with 78 goals. I also play at the U18/1999 State Cup level in the National Premiere League and Florida State Premier League for the Space Coast United Soccer Club which is the most competitive club team where I live in Melbourne, Florida. I think I would be an asset to your team because I am very coachable, open to playing where and when I am needed, and understand the interdependence and responsibility of being on a team. I have been told by coaches that I am an excellent dribbler and finisher, extremely dangerous in the attacking third, have great passing and shooting ability with both feet equally and tremendous intensity. Academically, I have been taking all honors courses and started taking AP courses as a sophomore.
I am looking for a college that is not only established in women's soccer, but is also very strong academically. As I am undecided about my future field of study, I am looking for a school with lots of options as majors. I currently live in Florida, but I am not limiting myself to this area for college.
