My collegiate goals are to complete high school with a GPA greater than 3.5 and competitive test scores to have multiple options for college at all levels. I want to study international relations and business given my experiences living in Germany and visiting 18 countries, plus I have learned to speak German, some French and Spanish, and now in Latin 2. Graduating from college with the opportunity to work globally would be fun and possibly still allow me to play soccer.
Growing up in a military family, my father is in the U.S. Air Force, has always been a bit challenging for academics and athletics due to moving every 2 years until reaching high school. I believe what makes me a good candidate for academics and athletics is every move presented its own unique challenges that has shaped me to learn new teachers and friends, coaches and their programs and teammates. What makes me different than most is my opportunities to attend many different schools, Stuttgart International middle school, Arlington Science Focus Elementary, Fayetteville Academy, Holy Cross Episcopal Elementary, Niceville Senior High School, plus others. I have also been fortunate to play travel soccer and ODP in North Carolina, a German U17 and U15 club for 2 years while also playing for a U.S. travel team and ODP-Europe team, with tournaments in France, Netherlands and Italy. Playing internationally was an incredible experience because you get to meet new people, compete and learn about new cultures.
I am very competitive and a selfless teammate. Giving 100% every day and helping the team is more important than awards or personal accomplishments. I am seeking an opportunity to be a part of something greater and represent a college soccer team while also doing my best in the classroom.
