I fell in love with soccer when I was five years old. Soccer has helped define who I am and provided me with so many life lessons. I would say that the most important things that I have learned are the benefits of hard work and self-disciple, being a team player, and leading by example. These attributes are what I strive to emulate each and every day. My greatest achievement in soccer was winning the Florida High School State Championship in 2019. During my Freshman year I was the leading scorer and MVP of the Junior Varsity team. As a sophomore this past year on a team with eleven strong seniors, I was determined to make it onto the field as a starter. I achieved this by the middle of the season and was awarded “Rookie of the Year”. I feel my greatest soccer attributes are my technical skills and calmness on the ball. I pride myself on making long stretch passes to the forwards from the midfield. I am comfortable shooting with both feet, but score most goals with my left foot. I am told that I am very coachable and have always been the captain of my club team. I feel that my strongest personal qualities are my organization, maturity, and self-confidence.
My eventual goal is to into enter the medical profession in some capacity. I am eager to find an academically rigorous college where I can excel in academics while simultaneously continuing my passion for soccer.
