My goal as a soccer player is to be able to improve and push myself every day. I believe mentality plays a huge role in being a solid soccer player and personally I can say that I will grind till the game ends. I do expect a lot from myself as well as my teammates. I enjoy being able to lift my team up during a hard game and encourage them to push past the end.
One thing I believe that has help me come as far as I have so far is constant self-discipline, I understand how difficult it can be when you all of a sudden lose that motivation to keep going. I trust that by playing soccer I can further push myself, not just physically but mentally, I like to see every day as a challenge to be better than yesterday, and with this I do tend to but a lot of pressure on myself, as I now know in order for myself to feel satisfied, I can only go above and beyond. I hold high accountability to myself and my team every practice and games.
Coming from a difficult start I'm proud to say I've only improved, and that thanks to my family and friends. I managed to see my family suffer to get me here and that pushes me that extra mile, and seeing how they came from nothing motivates me to be better than yesterday, last week, last season. I always strive to improve in the gym, on the field, and in school.
This coming 23 - 24 season I will be playing 2 years up on Coral Springs SC and objectify to progress in my soccer career.
