My name is Marin J. Yeagle and I reside in Wesley Chapel, FL where I am a senior at Wiregrass Ranch High School. I currently play for TBU ECNL 00/01 under the direction of coach Jim Cote. I play outside defense, however I am able to play defensive or offensive midfield if the occasion calls for me to do so. I have been called a "team player" by many of my previous coaches because I am a leader who will encourage others while keeping the team in a good mindset. In addition, I look for the pass rather than the individual glory. As an outside defender who also loves to attack, I am constantly overlapping the wingers in order to create strength in numbers. Shooting is one of my strengths as well, even though my position doesn't necessarily call for that skill.
Off of the field, I excel in school. I maintain above a 4.0 average while also engaging in sports and music. My biggest strengths in school are science and mathematics. My love for science combined with the fact that I want to help people made choosing a career in the medical field an easy decision. I am currently in the medical academy at my school and by the end of my senior year, I will be a CNA. On a different note, music is also a critical part of my life. I play the baritone saxophone, the piano, and the ukulele. I have been in the band program for four years with this being my fifth. I love being a part of something bigger than myself, which is one of the reasons why I love soccer.
One of my biggest accomplishments as a soccer player was when I was chosen to partake in the Nickelodeon television show, "Soccer Superstar." I was blessed to have been given that amazing opportunity and I will always have the memories I made there and the skills I was able to acquire. I was able to train with and receive guidance from Marcelo Balboa, Angela Hucles, and Dan Metcalf. Receiving advice from people who have made their soccer aspirations a reality was very awe-inspiring.
