Jordan Dahan '22 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been the biggest part of me for as long as I can remember. This sport has completely taken over my life, forced me out of my comfort zone, and taught me some harsh lessons, but I've never stopped loving it. In fact, I've been called soccer-obsessed by my teammates and friends. I own countless soccer books and I've been known to watch soccer games and study players for hours on end. The passion and love I have for this game has shaped me into the player that I am today. Over the years, soccer has taught me the value and importance of sacrifice, open-mindedness, and passion. Every time I make a mistake or face a setback in my goals, I am reminded of these three things. 

The greatest attribute I have gained from soccer, however, is leadership. This has shaped the person I am on the field as well as in the classroom. I'm usually a quiet person, but I've realized there needs to be a leader on the field to direct the team and flow of play. I have come to love this role and the responsibilities that come with it. As a leader on my team, I have gained confidence in my decisions and have become open-minded to different ideas from my coaches and teammates. I'm looking for a college that challenges me on the field as well as in the classroom. I know that I have the leadership, commitment, and flexibility to play college soccer.  Every time I step onto the field, I bring a steadiness and passion with me that can make a big impact for a college team.
