Personal Statement
As a soccer player my outlook on the sport has always been different. I remember going to watch my dad coach his high school boys at the age of twelve and looking forward to my freshman year. Soccer became more than just a game to me around the age of fourteen; as soccer became more of a priority I began dreaming of starting my freshman year of high school. High school seemed overwhelming at first, but soccer season began and everything felt comfortable. I started on varsity my freshman year as right wing and played almost every game. As high school continued, my academic achievements became more of a priority. I began the dual enrollment program with Georgia Military College my junior year and started thinking about majors and what to do after high school. I have always had a heart for helping people and as a nurse practitioner I believe I can help many people and make a difference. In college, I want to have an overall memorable experience and learn how to thrive in the adult world. My goal for college is to become an even better soccer player along with a better version of myself.
