I began my soccer journey at age six, then began to play travel soccer at age ten. Since then I have been in love with the game and always want to compete, train, and connect with my teammates. The joy of playing soccer and being with my team has pushed me to be the best player and teammate I can, and to constantly improve my skills. During games and training I like to push myself and my teammates, focus on improving aspects of my game, keep it at a high intensity level, and to be a positive influence to others.
On the field I am a midfielder who likes to attack the goal and knows how to attack from a wide position. I have pace both with control of the ball and without the ball. I also have the ability to play on the right or left side of the field, get crosses in or cut the ball back, and to finish. One challenge I faced during my soccer career was low confidence, but being able to get through it and continue to improve has played a big role in allowing me to now have an even higher confidence level and a stronger mindset. I always want to set new goals for myself and face new challenges - both on and off the field. Academics are a very important part of college for me, so I am looking for a school where I can achieve my goals in class and as an athlete. Soccer has already given me so much in my life, and I can't wait to continue my soccer career in college!
