Personal Statement
I adore being on a competitive team that works together as a family. As a student-athlete, I have focused my abilities on being a Right Back and being confident in making my runs forward but also confident in my school work, I work hard to maintain a steady 3.5 GPA. Soccer is a very important part of my life, and I have been playing since I was 4 years old. I play right back and Left-Wing in club and Center back in High School. Being a Defender means guarding the whole idea of the game, which is a huge responsibility. My speed and high soccer IQ are apart of what sets me apart from other defenders. I enjoy learning and am taking Honors Classes in Spanish II, Math, and Physics. I am a mentor of the Girl Talk Club I Co-Founded, a member of Youth Leadership Walton, and an avid and involved member of the Multicultural Club. I am fluent in Spanish and Italian. I’ve also done fundraisers for the Latin America Association and Meals on Wheels Atlanta. On my off time from school and soccer, you can usually find me volunteering, reading or working on my studies.
