I am a senior at Darlington School in Rome, Georgia, but am from Anchorage, Alaska. I participate in many different clubs at school, and volunteer outside of school also. I want to become and Orthopedic Surgeon and I have been given the opportunity to shadow an Orthopedic during surgeries. I have my NSCAA level I and II coaching diplomas and I coach/have coached U6 co-ed, U8 co-ed, U10 co-ed, and U10 girls academy within my soccer club in our rec program. During the summers I also enjoy refereeing games in the Cook Inlet rec league.
I love spending time outdoors with my friends and family! I really enjoy hiking, canoeing, camping, and fishing. Alaska is full of adventures and I make sure to create many for myself.
Being a player that stands out is possessing a mindset where you want to be a leader and control the momentum and movement on the pitch. That describes me. I have made Varsity both years for soccer and I was a starter on my high school team as a forward for many games. I also play in the Far West Regional League with my ODP team, where I have been a starter every game and a key player. With my ODP team, I was a key player by controlling the game in the number 6 position as a defensive midfielder as well as a number 8. I have been a driving force behind our success by being the playmaker on the field, and assisting many of our goals. On my club team, Cook Inlet Soccer Club, I have been a starter for a few years and a great asset to my team. My team has won the state championship 3 times out of the last 4 years. We tend to play older teams a lot which never intimidates me, and is a big reason why I come out on top. I have played with different academy teams such as Portland Thorns and Darlington. The outcome of playing with so many different teams is that I have learned to adapt quickly and compete at any style or level of play. Also, I have gained experience for what to expect and how to improve. I have transitioned after many years of attacking positions to a defensive position. I am an outside back but love to get into the attack and create plays.
