2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My dad played soccer his whole life and jokes that he had me kicking a ball shortly after I started walking. I started playing with my local YMCA at 3 years old and have played ever since. I did play some other sports (basketball, dance, gymnastics) but none ever compared to my love of soccer. First off, I love being part of a team and making that team better. I feel my determination and positive attitude really fit well on every team I have been part of. Secondly, I love the competitive aspect and especially creating and scoring goals! I want to continue to play in college and feel like I have both the physical attributes and mental aptitude to greatly contribute at the college level.
