Personal Statement
My goal is to play soccer at the next level while earning my degree in business management. I am a great team player, willing to work hard, and very coachable. I understand my responsibility as a keeper is to be a vocal leader, help direct the field and the speed of play.
Hard work is nothing new to me both on the field as well as in the classroom. Having Dyslexia and Dysgraphia as a learning challenge has taught me I have to work smarter in life to be successful and to look at challenges as growth opportunities. I do not use my learning disability as a crutch or excuse not to do something but instead it drives me become stronger and more resilient to adversity. I have been told that I won't do as well in school or that I can't succeed on the field because of how my brain is wired, I choose to prove that kind of thinking wrong everyday. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, I am the Secretary of Kuna High Schools National Honor Society and plan on graduating with a 4.2 GPA in 2019.
