Since I was a little girl just kicking the ball around with my dad I have loved the sport of soccer. From not making the ODP team the first year I tried out to making the team every year after that and even getting invited to go play in Italy on the ODP team (which sadly got cancelled because of COVID). I have grown significantly. Not making the team taught me that you can’t rely on the talent you have always had because that won’t get you to where you want to be. As soon as I got that email saying I didn’t make it I worked harder than I ever had and gained the confidence I needed as a player. Growing that confidence helped me realize that I could take the sport I love and play it at collegiate level which quickly became my number one goal and dream.
Playing at Century High-school has been a real game changer, being on varsity my entire high school career. I have learned to balance lifting several times a week, track practices, soccer practices, my homework, and personal life extremely well and have shown myself I can do anything.
I would love to take my playing to the next level along with my academics. I am looking to attend a college that will help me to achieve my academic and athletic goals.
