Claryssa Barone '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a walk on and have committed to Pacific University as of 7/17/23! 

I unfortunately am not able to attend a junior/community College as I will already have my A.A. Degree when I graduate high school. I will be attending several tournaments and the Las Vegas Players Showcase March 17th - 19th 2023. If there are any coaches still looking for 2023 players, I would love to talk with you. 

My collegiate goals are to get at least a Master's in Occupational Therapy, and I am getting my Associate's Degree before I graduate from High School with a 3.90 GPA. I feel that I am a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker in and out of the classroom.  

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and love how I learn and continue to grow with improvement at each stage.  I started playing competitively in junior high when I lived in Oregon and continued with club soccer and high school soccer when I moved to Twin Falls, Idaho.  I have enjoyed playing with all the girls from both states and consider them all family. 

 On the field I have played as an outside midfielder most of my soccer career and I have the endurance that helps to last the whole game but also quick with my speed.  I am an optimistic team leader for those around me and I continue to work hard to improve my skills.  I am looking for a college coaching staff that will continue to push me at that competitive level in soccer, continue to grow, and help with the betterment of the team.
