Personal Statement
I have loved playing soccer since I started recreational soccer in Kindergarten. I have played select soccer since u8. I started out at a small club, Alton United, and played from u8 through u11. I knew I needed a more challenging environment for myself, so I switched to play for Saint Louis Scott Gallagher--Illinois. I have played on Saint Louis Scott Gallagher--Illinois since u12 and currently play on their u15 ECNL team. My many great coaches throughout the years have impacted the player I am today in many ways.
I play center back and outside back. I think I would be a good candidate for your team because I am an outgoing person who has a passion for the sport of soccer. Being a defender, I am a leader on the field, bringing a voice to the game. Not only do I enjoy soccer, but I also apply myself to school. I have taken several honors courses in addition to summer school with a goal of attaining a degree in nursing and/or sports medicine.
