Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Katrina. I've been playing soccer my whole life; I started in a recreational league and then moved to club teams. I played for this club team named PEAK soccer academy for 4 years. It was a really good experience that I will never forget. At the end of my last game with this club my coach, Jean-Pierre Tokoto (JP), told me that if there was a fight between a cheeta and me, then he would pick me to win. This meant a lot to me because he was always very hard on me and expected a lot from me. Sadly my club PEAK went down so I had to switch to the Rockford Raptors. I'm still new to this club and I have yet to play a game with them but I'm excited about this opportunity to play with a new club. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a 4.0 GPA. My parents have always pushed me to get good grades and I'm very grateful that they did this. Getting good grades has taught me the importance of hard work.
