Personal Statement
I'm a first generation college applicant who's been playing for 10 years now. Growing up, I hated sports, but coming from a family where everyone played sports, I decided to give soccer a try, and I love it. My family has always taught us about discipline and responsibility. Those are qualities I believe that are essential in a player because it's taught me that a balance between academics and sports. Discipline has taught me that to make a team work, everything must be taken serious and that it takes everyone to make it work. Responsibility has shown me that organization is required to keep a balanced life. I'm a team player who's very dedicated to everything. I'm known as the team player who's always motivating and helping out others. I believe that I'm a candidate for any team and I feel like I can contribute positive things to any team.
