Hi. My name is Patricia Georgiou. I am 15 years old and I am a sophomore a Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I have been playing soccer for 10 years and I play on the FC1974 Elite Girls team in Libertyville, Illinois as the Goalkeeper.
Playing soccer for 10 years not has not only taught me how to be a better person but be a leader and control my life. Its taught me how to respect adults and respect people around me even if I am not close with them. I have learned that soccer helps me cope with things around me and its my passion in life.
Other things I like to do besides soccer is singing. I have been singing since I was 5. My major is undecided but I would like to do something that involves sports and music. I am involved in the musical program at my school in Acapella Choir and the musical.
The reason I want to keep playing soccer is that I have been passionate about playing for most of my life now. It's taught me so much about not only who I am as a person but about life in general. I love the atmosphere that is brings in watching the sport, and playing the sport has brought so much joy in my life. That's why I want to continue playing soccer in college and after and why I always want to be around the sport.
I am really focused as a player to continue to grow to improve my skill. I look forward to being challenged on the field by my competition.
