Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer my entire childhood and as I approach my final years of high school I know I wouldn't be the person I am without it. I have learned so much about myself and how to interact with others. There is nothing better than competing with a group of teammates who strive to get the best out of each other. It has taught me how to challenge myself, encourage others, and be a leader. Through my development as a person and an athlete, it has always been a focus of mine to maintain a positive attitude and inspire those around me. As I look forward to my collegiate experience, my desire is to find a program that has a great balance of academics and athletics. My goal is to attend a university that continues my growth and challenges me as a player, while providing an opportunity to prepare for a medical career post graduation.
