Soccer is the game that I love. I like to think that I have a very good work ethic when it comes to soccer. I attend every practice and game that I can, and I always look forward to it. I also wake up at 5 am almost every Saturday and drive a good 40 minutes to go to goalie training. Some of my friends say that the training is not worth it, but I think it is, as soccer is my passion. Over summer, I train for 2-3 hours almost every day with a few friends that play soccer. Although it isn't an actual training session with a club or team, we take it seriously while still having a lot of fun. Most people that I know will only play soccer if their team has a game or practice, and I find this ridiculous because if someone really enjoys soccer then they would play it off season too. My favorite saying is "the grind doesn't stop." This is true for me, as I try to train as often as I can too make myself the best player that I can be. My goal in soccer is to play in college. My dream is to play pro, but being realistic, that is a huge stretch. But I will not say that it is impossible.
As for academics, I am in very high level classes. For example, I will be taking precalc honors in my junior year. The majority of my grades are an A, and my other grades are B's. I push myself as hard as I can in school, but I also try not to put too much stress on myself.
The last thing I will mention is my character. I like to think of myself as someone that people can get along with. I can be a bit shy at times, but I really try to open up to people, and I would say that I have a good amount of friends. When I play sports, I try to be a leader and a good example for other people to look at. I have a very strong work ethic, and I still have a lot of fun without being too serious. I also hope that I do not seem conceded.
