My name is Kayleigh M. Merchant, I am a forward/attacking mid. I am currently located at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, GA as of June 2021. I am a military child/brat and have played in competitive soccer leagues in Las Vegas, St. Louis, and now part of the South Georgia region United Football Academy (UFA). Also, I guest play for the ECNL and ECNL RL UFA team in Atlanta every weekend.
Before relocating, I played for the St. Louis Scott Gallagher ECNL Regional team. Additionally, I played on Mascoutah High School Varsity team where we competed in the Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC) 2A.
I recently committed to playing for UFA. For my junior and senior year I will be attending Valwood College Preparatory School in Hahira, GA.
My best skills are seeing the entire field, as I started playing as a center back, anticipating offensive attack transition/passing lanes, communication, leadership, and speed. I am passionate about the game of soccer and competition at the highest levels, but attending an outstanding college/university is first. I am extremely driven, self-motivated and pride myself on time management to balance my HS academics (4.0 cumulative GPA) rigor and club/HS soccer program demands.
