Hannah Mekky '22 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been my passion since I was five years old. When I was learning how to walk, my dad placed a ball in front of my feet and since then, my passion for the game continued to grow.  Now, after playing for 11 years, I have a deep understanding for the sport, my position, what it takes to excel in the game and I am a true team player. I currently play club soccer at Pegasus FC out of Deerfield, Illinois and we are in the MRL division. I have played on the national team for Global Premier Soccer and have competed in some of the best tournaments around the world. I am a very disciplined student as well and apply my hard work on the field to my school work because academics are my top priority. I work hard to balance everything while also putting in extra training sessions and workouts outside of my club practices as well because I strive to play at the next level. I am a dedicated, hard-working and competitive individual both on and off the field.
