Personal Statement

I'd like to continue playing soccer at the college level. I have played soccer since I was five and in kindergarten; starting travel soccer four years later. Currently, I am playing in the US Club Soccer National Premier League, as a member of the Illinois Premier Alliance '01 Select team. Previously, I have played in the Illinois Youth Soccer Association Premiership, with the Arlington Aces,  as well guest playing with an IPA member club, Joga Bonito SC, in the US Youth Soccer National League.

I always try to do my best, and I consider myself to be hardworking, coach-able, and skilled with both feet. Also, I am a good student that likes to learn new things and does well in difficult classes, and I believe this translates well to the soccer field. I'd like to find a college that not only provides a good competitive level of soccer, but also provides me with the right kind of academics.
