Personal Statement
For the last eleven years I have been preparing and training to reach lofty academic and athletic goals. It is a high priority of mine to attend a world class College or University where I have the ability to earn an education as well as compete at the highest level on the soccer field.
Academics are my highest priority at Homestead High School. My current class schedule provides a challenging work load that will prepare me for the future. The goal that I have set for myself is to maintain an "A" average through my high school education and beyond. One of the strengths that I can offer to a college soccer program is time management and an ability to balance a school work load with a rigorous soccer and training schedule.
Athletically, I pride myself on being a strong competitor and a technically skilled player with a physical presence. While representing Homestead High School and Fort Wayne Sport Club my coaches often rely on my leadership, strength, speed and versatility to manage the game. My strong technical skills as well as my ability to see the field allow me to move the ball accurately to my teammates. From a defensive position, a strong leg helps me to change the point of attack as well as move the ball up the field with accuracy. My speed and endurance allow me to be aggressive at any position on the field.
My goal is to represent a College or University both academically and athletically. I believe that my skills and abilities would allow me to be a strong and effective leader of a Team both on and off the field.
