Personal Statement

My name is Kaitlyn Swartzendruber. I have a passion for soccer and a desire to play at the collegiate level. My passion runs extremely deep for soccer as I have been playing organized soccer since I was 4 years old. My current position is a defender but I can also play in the wing forward position. Being a switch foot sets me apart from most players. I have a deep understanding of defensive awareness and in reading the game in order to deny opponent opportunities. I am accurate in my passes and always looking to create offensive plays for the team. I am able to sustain my endurance throughout the game and carry through until the end of play. I am different from other soccer players in that I portray a positive attitude both on and off the field, which makes me a coachable player who is always wanting to listen, learn and try new things.
