Making it to the sectional finals my sophomore year was the highlight of my high school career so far. Another highlight of my sophomore year was being able to play at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium and being a leading scorer of that game. I also got to assist a couple other of my teammates in their goals. When we did not make it past sectionals it helped me to develop as a person, it made me realize that you might not win everything but it is the little things that could make a big difference in a game. I've always been a leading scorer of my club team USAi, so people really look up and depend on me to hold the team together especially, when we do not play up to our given potential. When I got to high school it was a lot different because there are people older than me and have more experience than me. So I always look up to them and ask them for tips to make my game a little bit better and how to get a little better in the classroom. I hope to carry some of those classroom habits to college with me. My whole life my dad has always told me you can do anything if you put your mind to it especially in school. I am on an IEP (Individual Education Program) and ever since I got on this, my grades have improved and I see potential in myself to do the work given to me. I just have to work harder to get where I want to be for school and soccer. I think that I not only have the talent to play in college but I have the leadership, responsibility, and the perseverance to impact any team I play on.
