Personal Statement
I'm Arianna Topping currently a senior at Northwood High School in Nappanee, IN. I'm very competitive in soccer and school. Coaches have told me I'm very coachable, a fast learner, and a team player. I usually play center striker, however, I have played mid-field and defense when asked. As center mid-fielder I led my high school varsity team my freshman year in assists and was 3rd in scoring. This led to an All-Conference Honorable Mention this year. I made All-Conference my junior year and I'm 8th all-time leading scorer in Northwood High School history. I've led the team in assists for the last three years. I've always been very good at creating plays that open opportunities for scoring and assisting. I have worked very hard in soccer and have gone from an ISL 1 team to a GLC P1 (formerly MRL) in just 2 seasons. I've also made the Indiana ODP State team (#737) playing in the inter-regionals.
In college, I will work hard to help a competitive team attain wins at high levels of competition. Possibly and hopefully even championships. I would like to achieve MVP status during the season and in tournaments, as well as all-conference and hopefully All-American.
Academically I manage my time with athletics. I am currently #1 of 234 in my class. I plan to take AP classes that will help me prepare for a pre-dental major. This will help me achieve my collegiate goal of becoming an orthodontist.
