McKenna Turner '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly focused girl from Indiana. I have consistently achieved academic excellence as shown in my GPA and class rank. Athletically my technical ability, speed and agility have enabled me to be competitive, as well as respectful, on the field. I am a left foot dedicated soccer player who understands the game and has experience in several positions on the field and in many formations. Over the years I have played many styles as coached on many teams. The pinnacle of my soccer experience to date was being selected to represent Indiana in the spring of 2012 International Soccer Tournament in Berlin Germany as an ODP player.

In my freshman year of high school I was elected to represent the freshman class as the class senator. I was also selected to take part in the Best Buddies program where I help kids with mental/physical disabilities. Throughout the school year I work hard to maintain my grades as well as maintain a tight schedule between juggling church, school, soccer, show choir, occasional other extracurricular activities, and time with family and friends.

My college aspirations are to attend an academically strong school that has a competitive women’s soccer program!

It’s the will to prepare to win that matters." – this describes me as it is the will to prepare to win, the adversity that I have had to overcome, and the determination that I have shown, that sets me apart from others!
