Personal Statement

Winning one of the biggest women's soccer tournaments in the country at the young age of 14, was and is one of my biggest motivations. However, I feel like the process to get to the tournament made me a better athlete than winning the tournament. I learned how to handle the pressure, how to be a good teammate, and most importantly that hard work always pays off. It also taught me how to become more organized on my school work and my schedules because of the hours per week of practice we were having.
