Emily Pegg '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am 15 years old. My dedication and to drive to be better everyday is unmatched. I hold myself to the highest standard as playing in the States has always been my dream. Coming from a girl living in Saskatoon Saskatchewan where exposure can be limited. Last year I started to play for Saskatchewan excel, this Is the highest team you can play for in Saskatchewan. I joined just in grade 9 playing alongside girls that were 1 to 3 years older than me which had impacted my game in a positive way. I quickly learnt how to have quick game tempo, smarter thinking and ability to accurately play threw balls and long balls to play against harder teams like the University of Saskatchewan and other Whitecaps teams around Canada . This high school season I got to lead my team as their Captain in grade 10. Showcasing my postivey, dedication and leadership on and off the field. I always want to be playing against the hardest competitors there is.During the summer I have the opportunity to play with my reserve Sandy lake in women's tournaments as well I got the opportunity to play in the 2023 North American Indigenous Games where we finished second. Lastly I am super excited and honoured to be a part of team Saskatchewan heading to Canada games. I look forward to continuing my growth at D1 level.
