Emily Bailey '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emily Bailey and I am a soccer player from Brisbane, Australia. I graduate in 2026 and am looking to go to college in 2027. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old, and ever since, I have been passionate and driven to push beyond high school level. I would love to get an opportunity to go to American college to develop my skills further, in a highly competitive environment as well as being able to immerse myself in the culture and overseas study experiences.

I have already been able to compete at state and national level competitions over my years of playing, including coming second at the National Youth Championships in 2023 and 2024, as well as winning top goal scorer in 2023. I also received Golden Boot award at the Premier Invitational in 2022. At St Aidan's I have been in the Opens Soccer Team since Year 9, when I won the rising star award as well as coming 2nd in 2023. In 2024, we also came 2nd and I won player of the year award. I also play for the Football Queensland Academy U15 Team, competing in the U23 Womens NPL Competition, where I won the Golden Boot award.

With a current GPA of 87.71 I am as committed to my education as I am to my sports, and I believe that if I had the opportunity to experience the world-class educational facilities and competitive sporting environments of American colleges, I would be able to unlock my full potential and thrive academically and athletically.
