Personal Statement
Thank you for reviewing my profile,
My name is Amber Wilkinson from the GoldCoast Australia,
I am currently 16 years of age and undertake Maths, English, Biology, Religion, Business, Legal studies and Physical Education.
My Grad year is 2022. I am a dedicated Goal Keeper.
I have been a dedicated Goalkeeper for 6 years now. The Last 4 years I have been privileged to be coached by the former Australian Matildas Coach, Mr Paul Jones.
I play in the NPL league in the U23s division , as well as the NPL Womens Divison as well since I was 15, as a 1st and second keeper.
As a Goalkeeper, I get to dive , stop penalties , and have the ability to change up the game. I am a team player ,and get along with every team that I have represented. I am very vocal at outlining where our opponents are on the field to the rest of the team. I do love being a part of a team environment and the friendships that develop.
My dream is to come to college in the USA and be on the roster as a Goalkeeper and study my career interests.
My favourite part of the game is the team enviroment as well as specifically taking a penalty.
I have been playing in the highest division of NPL soccer in Australia for 4 years now.
I have been fortunate enough to travel to the UK for some Academy experience and I new then I wanted to play in the USA college system.
I wished to come to the Surf and Dallas cup last year, however due to Covid throughout the world that did not happen.

I have am 16 years old and still developing my craft. I have had the opportunity in playing for the women and always playing up.
I have represented Qld and Local tournament teams as the number 1 keeper.
I still have more work to continually improve my Plyometrics and some positioning whilst I have Paul as my Coach.
My strengths are diving, taking penalties, big kicks, physicality and communicating to my team whilst on the field and motivating everyone if we are in a flat moment.
I am still developing day by day and will do nothing less than be my best for you.
I cannot wait to come and represent a USA college in football as your Goalkeeper.
