I am very self motivated and have researched moving to America to continue my studies and play Soccer by myself.
I have played Soccer for 7 years. For the last three years I have "played up", in other words I have played with and against girls who are a year older than I am. This has meant that I have had to push myself to be as physical and skilled as girls with more experience and playing time than I have. In two of the last three seasons I played every minute in every match of the season including two cup runs to the county cup final. I always want to arrive early to matches and training and start training as soon as I get there.
I have represented my college in a variety of sports playing for the team one year above me. I have been given the opportunity to coach younger teams and referee matches. All of this has helped me to become knowledgeable about the rules and psychology of the game. I am currently training and playing for Fulham as a keeper for the handball team where we play teams such as arsenal.
I believe that my coaches have always found me to be very responsive to their instructions and have adapted and played as they have asked me. I have a really good kick from my and hands and goal kick. I am good in one on one situations and am not afraid to dive at attackers feet to get the ball. Prior to being a goalie I played as an attacking midfielder, I therefore can quickly think about where to distribute the ball and am confident with the ball at my feet.
I take responsibility for my studies and revision. I am in the top set for every subject and get good grades in assessments. I have just sat my GCSEs and passed every single one with a b or above.
In addition to Soccer and my studies I have taken taken on other responsibilities. I have been part of my City's youth council. This has involved talking to the City leaders and representing the views of young people and running events to raise awareness of local issues and funds to support youth programs. I have been a police cadet. This involved learning about law enforcement and helping run events on such things as road safety.
