Personal Statement

I am a 5'4" Defender/Outside Back from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I will graduate from Notre Dame School, where currently I have a full scholarship by athletics, in the class of 2018. I have been playing soccer since the age of 8. In 2015, I was called to the National Team U-17 and currently I was called again to the U-20 in 2017. Playing soccer I learned that there is no glory without sacrifice. I'm looking for a school that will be a good fit for me athletically and also academically, offering an education in Exercise Science or Kinesiology. Financial assistance is very important to me because I am an international student. I believe that I have what an athlete needs to compete for a college team. My desire of give always the best of me in everything I do and my passion for this awesome and beautiful sport will be the cause of an immediate impact on your program.
