Isabella Guyer '19 Recruiting Profile

I have loved soccer for as long as I can remember, and playing in college has always been a dream of mine. As a goalkeeper my position is a position of leadership by default and I believe that this has forced me to step up in situations and taught me how to be an effective leader. I always push myself to figure out my weaknesses and work to to correct them. I am an aggressive goalkeeper and have the ability to come off my line in an effective manner. This has become key to the way that not only I play but how my team plays as well. I work with my backline to direct, and have the ability to play with my feet when passed back too. I work hard in school, and hold myself to a high level standard when it comes to academics. I love soccer and want to continue this love in college and possibly coaching after.
