Personal Statement
My goal is to get into a university with a great soccer program and a good pre med program. Academically, I'm a good student but need to be great to become a doctor. I am pushing myself in high school to do well in order to succeed. I want to go to college to become a psychiatrist. I have been playing soccer since I was six years old. Soccer is my passion. I have a history of depression, and soccer helps me fight my depression and love myself and my team. I love to share my passion with others who feel the same way. I am a fast learner and try to learn new things everyday. My step-dad is military so my family and I move around every three years, sometimes less. This has helped me become versatile and adaptable. I've lived in Virginia, where I was born, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Missouri, Alaska, and am now in Kansas. When switching soccer teams so often I was able to experience different coaching and learn different things from their individual coaching styles. I love challenges and am very competitive, with other teams as well as myself. I strive to do my best on and off the field.
