For those who are reading this,
My name is Josée Gallegos and I'm currently a college freshman. My favorite teams are FC Barcelona (SPA) and Club America (Mex). I've been playing soccer since I was in elementary but I wasn't lucky like most athletes because I couldn't afford to play on a club team . I hope to be able to play in college level soccer and hope to improve even more. My goal since I was little is to become a professional soccer player like Lionel Messi, who is my idol. When it comes to soccer, I like to work hard even when there's obstacles, so I'm really dedicated and determined to achieve my goal one day. With academics well I try my best to complete every assignment and pass the class no matter how hard it is. Although, math is a class I do struggle with, I'll do whatever it takes to pass and graduate. I'm outgoing and very competitive. but also determined to change and prove a point that I can play just as good without having a club experience when I was young. I tend to be a fast sprinter and improve even after practice or a game.

Interviewed by sports columnist Eva Cole from Chicago Times article , "Bend it like Josée".
I currently attend Butler County Community college at the Andover campus, so I had to sit out to improve my physical self. Currently trying to major in Criminal Justice and hopefully to transfer from a 2 year college to a 4 year.
I hope to play college soccer in 2017.
My coaches and teachers describe me as a hard worker because I put all the work on and off the field and that I'm not the type to give up.
I mainly play striker/forward or winger and also midfield, but I can play any position coach puts me in. My dominant foot would be left but I rather say both.
