Well, for starters, I'm 5'2'' and I have a strong passion for soccer. I started off as a defender/wing but our JV backup keeper continued to get injured. A prior coach I had, Aaron Zagory, saw that the JV keeper needed to be replaced because she was not benefiting the team by being in casts. I was asked if I would consider trying keeper since our first game was approaching. I said that I would do my best to see what I could do. I started training with our varisty keeper Candice Barwick and I started to really enjoy the position. By my sophomore year I had All-District Second Team Defender under my belt. Coach Zagory left us after my sophmore year to go back to school. At the start of my junior year for the soccer season we had a new assistant coach. His first day of seeing me in goal he asked coach gioia and said "is she okay? She looks miserable" and coach gioia said "don't annoy her. She's perfectly fine." We had a good season that year. I had 8 shut outs and we made it to play offs. I plan to have our team winning play offs this year.
