Dear Coaches, thank you for taking a look at my profile!

When it comes to soccer and more specifically goalkeeping, words cannot begin to express the love and passion I have for the game. Ever since I started playing at the age of 7, soccer has played a huge role in my life on and off the field.

Throughout the years, soccer has taught me about decision making, teamwork, perseverance, and so much more. I believe I’d be a good addition to your soccer program, because I have a strong work ethic, I appreciate and take in constructive criticism from coaches, and I always have a positive attitude. I hold myself accountable!

When it comes to practices, I always try my best and I play as if I’m in a game to work on my competitive mindset. Alongside the physical training I take part in, I also try to mentally train myself by setting goals, visualising before games, and practising positive self-talk. Some of my more specific strengths includes being aggressive towards the ball, cutting down angles, making myself big during 1v1’s, and low dives. Because of my experience as an outfield player, I also have good foot skills and quick feet, which has really helped me with my distribution. I’m not afraid of the ball or contact and am prepared for a kick to the face for the team. I aim to improve every session and spend much time studying game film and opponents.

As a student-athlete, my academics are also really important to me. I have been able to maintain my high marks in all my classes. I’m studying Exercise Science leading towards a career in Physiotherapy, and Treatment Professions because I know firsthand how they help people.

I am registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center and there will be no issues with my academics. I am only interested in playing and studying in the United States.

Overall, I think that what sets me apart from other goalkeepers is my coachable personality, my drive for improvement, and my devotion to goalkeeping. I am low-maintenance as a player and give everything to my team. You will never have to worry about me slacking off, missing time because of a minor knock or being disruptive in the training room or on the field.  I want to be in a program where standards are high and maintained.
