Sasha Tolliver's ...Personal Statement
My dream is to become an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist. I will make a good candidate for your team because I am a very persistent person. I never give up on anything, and I always try my very best and nothing less. I am different in character from the many recruits that you will continue to meet because I am open to criticism. I like to hear what I am doing wrong so that I can work on it and improve. Many recruits believe that they are the best of the best and do not leave themselves open for suggestion, but I am not one of those people. Yes I do believe I have what it takes to become the best player, and yes I believe that I am a great athlete, but I understand that I am not perfect and that does not discourage me.
I differ in academics as well because I am academically motivated just like I am in athletics. I have been in the Talented and Gifted Program since the 1st grade, and then when I reached high school I was enrolled in the SUMMIT Program which is a college based program at my high school. On top of all of the programs that I have been enrolled in, I have kept a steady 3.5+ GPA and juggled playing soccer, softball, and having a job all at the same time. I enjoy a challenge and I am not afraid of pushing myself to my limit, and I believe that this sets me apart from any other recruit.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I am in the SUMMIT Program, which is a college based 4 year course at Bowie High School and I have always maintained above a B in each class while being on a commited soccer team. The SUMMIT Program is extremely rigorous and only 60 students out of the over 500 person student body were selected to be in the program.Are you in AP/IB classes?
