Personal Statement
I'm an ECNL club player as well as a member of the Cayman Islands Women's National Team. I've been included in the U17/U20 and Senior teams and have international starter experience through CONCACAF play.
I have been playing soccer competitively since I was 6, although my love for the game started years before playing in the backyard with my older brother. All of my life I have talked about playing collegiate-level soccer and as a three-sport athlete, I know I have the work ethic to give my all to my college soccer program and teammates. Playing ball in college is something that not everyone can do, and I know that when I get that opportunity, I will make the most of it.
I also love strength training; therefore, I am strong not only in my lower body as a soccer player but also in my upper body. I am a leader on the field in whatever position I play and I encourage my teammates no matter what is happening in the game. I put time and quality into the athlete I am and train as a hardworking player striving to be one of the most tireless recruits you will find.
As a student-athlete, I have a "work first, rest later" mentality as you can see with my high GPA and challenging classes. I earned a 4-year merit scholarship and was accepted into the very competitive STEM program at my school. I have a love for coaching and volunteering at youth soccer camps.
I want to attend a college where I am able to push myself on and off the field. I am open to colleges where I can contribute at the highest level and will be the best fit for me, both academically and athletically. I aspire to be a leader for my teammates and peers and make myself, my parents, family, and coaches proud.
