I’ve been playing soccer for pretty much as long as I can remember, I started off in kiddie kick when I was 4 and from there my passion and love for the game just continued to grow. Soccer has always been a place of mind for me if I’m feeling down or angry I find happiness out in the field working on soccer. As a player I’m also very aggressive and if I want that ball there’s a pretty good chance I will receive it. This has resulted in me not being one of the others teams favorite people but I come there to win.
Soccer has taught me how to work well with others and be more of a team player. That develops good skills for later on in life and in my current school career.
I have always held high academic standards for myself and work hard to achieve them. In 4th grade I earned a spot in the STEM program that’s in my county. The STEM program puts a strong emphasis on accelerated courses and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. To show an example of the acceleration of my classes I am currently in algebra 2, which is 2 years ahead of curriculum, as a freshman in high school.
My highschool team isn’t exactly known for being good but this year me and my fellow team mates put in the hard work and effort to fight against our reputation known within the tri county. And we’ve slowly begun rebuilding our reputation and program and I’m excited to continue to see our program gaining speed.
