Personal Statement
My name is Sarah Remp. You will want to watch my video highlights! I am completing my Junior year in high school and am looking for a challenging college soccer experience. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old and playing club soccer with FC Frederick through the Club Champions League since I was ten years old. I absolutely love the sport, love the competition, and love the team camaraderie. Soccer has taught me dedication, self-discipline, persistence, respect for the game, and the importance of being a good teammate. I was a starting midfielder for Varsity for both my Sophomore and Junior years. As a Junior in the 2019 Fall season, my high school team played in the 2A State Championship! Although we lost in a nail-biter double overt-time with 30-seconds remaining before PK's, the experience of playing under pressure, and at such a high level of competition, will carry over into my Senior year of soccer and ultimately my college career. I was honored to make the Frederick County’s First Team All-Area 2019. I am known as an aggressive, relentless, and tactical player who is tight with the ball and makes good decisions under pressure. In addition to high school and club soccer, I am an Honor Roll student for all three years, who maintains a 3.9 GPA (weighted 4.4) with honors and AP classes. I am interested in a college program that challenges me both academically and athletically. I look forward to speaking with you!
