Personal Statement

My soccer career began at age 3. Now, at age 14, I want to continue growing as a person both on and off the field. I've played center back for seven years but have recently taken up playing center midfield. In the 2021-2022 season, I played on Bethesda SC u15 as a  holding-mid. Now, I play for Maryland United FC U16.  In high school I played center back and was selected Defensive MVP. I lead my team with vocality and acting with integrity. I am a dynamic player that strives to improve mine and my teammates' game.  As a student-athlete involved in the National Honors Society and St. Mary's Scholars,  education is very important to me. Balancing between the two worlds has been difficult but has proven worthwhile. I want to attend a university that not only has great athletics, but also academics.
