Giselle Bridgett '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Giselle Bridgett, I am a 5'5 Center Back from Rockville, Maryland. I am currently a Junior at Sherwood High School in Olney, Maryland. This year I was apart of the Varsity Girls Soccer team as we won a divisional title and made it to Regional Semi-Finals. I began playing soccer when I was about 4 years old and played for OBGC but after a bit I moved to Bethesda to begin playing travel soccer before moving back to OBGC.  In 2021, I decided my time was over at OBGC and I joined ROSA Legends as they had a coach who I believed would help me become a better player and he definitely did that. He also taught me how to be a better leader and just an overall better person. During the spring of 2023 I joined the 2007 pre-academy team for FC Girondins de Bordeaux (FCGB) which is based in Potomac, Maryland for their upcoming 23/24 EDP season.  Over the years I have built relationships and learnt things that will stay with me for many years. Lots of my closest friends I met through either club or school soccer and I am so grateful for all the opportunities I have had.  I have a 3.98 unweighted and a 4.79 weighted grade point average at Sherwood and I am enrolled in several AP and Honor's classes.  Academics are very important to me and i'm looking for a program with both a strong soccer and academics program.
