Claire Smith '22 Recruiting Profile

As a captain of my High School's varsity soccer team during my Junior and Senior year, I have developed as a player and leader for my teammates. As a sophomore playing on my High School's Varsity team, I learned to become even more dedicated to my sport, playing consistently, and becoming a stronger player overall. I am a devoted student athlete both on and off the field and I will work to meet and exceed my coach’s and team’s expectations. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and I have always enjoyed challenging and pushing myself to grow as a player. I have played club soccer with FC Frederick, which has allowed me to play in a variety of positions on the field, interact with new players and coaches, and train in a variety of ways.

In college, I hope to further my abilities through a team that I can contribute to and continue to learn from. I plan to study in the medical field and focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle while playing soccer and keeping stellar grades. I look forward to the opportunity to play with a team at the college level and to continue to grow as an athlete!
