Valentina Ramirez '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Valentina Ramirez and I am a 2024 graduate from Lynn, MA. My primary position is goalkeeper and I've been playing it all of my soccer career. I played for Valeo FC for 6 years and I recently started playing for NE Surf 2005 Girl's state navy team. In addition to my club experience, I am a starter on the JV team at my school but I am continuously working on my skills to hopefully soon make Varsity. Soccer has been my passion for a long time now. I believe soccer has molded me into a very driven and dedicated person. When I set my mind to something I don't stop working until I reach that goal. I think that is a very important quality to have because it shows that I don't let myself get to the point where I give up.

In addition, in the short period of time I have been playing for Surf I feel that I am being provided with quality practices and with great competition which helps me improve and continue to develop my game! Currently, my goal is to not only continue developing my game as stated before but also to develop my athlete mindset in order to further my career in soccer and play competitive soccer in college and possibly play beyond that.
